This collection is composed of administrative and planning reports produced by and for the University of Minnesota. Examples include reports created by the Board of Regents; compiled by the Office of the President and University senior leadership; submitted to the University Senate for approval; completed by Senate committees but never submitted to the Senate for approval; completed by ad hoc and standing University, collegiate, and departmental committees and task forces; and presented to the University by outside agencies and consultants.

President's Task Force on Institutional SpeechThe President's Task Force on Institutional Speech was charged in May 2024 with developing an appropriate policy or policies related to institutional statements on matters of public concern at all levels of the University. The charge noted that this might be a Board of Regents policy, an administrative policy, or both. The task force was charged to think broadly about whether and when "the University" should speak.
