Persistent link for this collection

A series of briefs summarizing findings of the National Longitudinal Transition Study-2 (NLTS2). For over 10 years the study followed 11,270 youth ages 13-16 who were receiving special education services, and provided a national picture of the experiences and achievements of those young people as they transitioned into early adulthood. It was commissioned by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), and the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) in Washington, DC. It was conducted by SRI International, RTI International, and Westat. The NLTS2 Data Briefs series was published by the National Center on Secondary Education and Transition (NCSET), an affiliated center of the University of Minnesota's Institute on Community Integration.
