Abstract

Ashley Farley will provide the experience of the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation in envisioning a data access program to help program staff and their grantees better share data and how this approach aligns with the Desirable Characteristics framework. This work has been driven by a FAIR Data Working Group coordinating across all foundation divisions. What has been the easiest successes? What are the biggest obstacles? This was presented as part of the Data Curation Network's Repository Readiness Virtual Learning Series, Summer 2023.
