Abstract

In this issue Features 4 Pioneers in One Health At the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, the history of One Health goes back more than 50 years. The college’s One Health pioneers discuss its origins and how it has evolved. Building on a strong foundation, members of the next generation of One Health veterinarians discuss their work in comparative medicine and public health. 12 Wildlife and One Health Veterinarians specializing in wildlife and ecosystem health have been instrumental in understanding and controlling threats ranging from West Nile virus and avian influenza to lead poisoning and invasive species.
