The Center for Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS) plays a key role in protecting people from animal diseases and food-borne illnesses. Since its inception in 2001, CAHFS has responded to emerging animal health, public health, and food safety issues by partnering with local, national and international stakeholders to improve food safety and public health.
