Body Freedom Flutter (BFF) Aircraft Reference Data

Persistent link for this collection

The Body Freedom Flutter (BFF) aircraft vehicle 06 was given to the University of Minnesota in November 2012. The BFF aircraft were used by Lockheed Martin, the Air Force Research Laboratories, and NASA to research body freedom flutter dynamics and control. This aircraft has not been flown by the University of Minnesota; however, it has been studied through ground testing and used to create derivative research platforms. Included is reference data generated by this testing, which may be useful for the creation of aeroelastic simulations, structural and aerodynamic models, and analysis of GVT data.
