Duluth Summer Sentinel

This collection contains issues of the Duluth Summer Sentinel, a summer newspaper published by summer session students at the Duluth State Teachers College (a precursor to the University of Minnesota Duluth). Issues date from August 8 through August 30, 1940 (volume 1, number 1-4) and July 25 through August 14, 1941 (volume 2, number 1-3), though some issues may be missing and the newspaper may have continued for additional years.

This title ran concurrently with the Fortnightly Chronicle, which was published during the academic year during this time period.
