Item Boundary Waters: Online news as a place for public participation in decision-making(2020) Thomas, Amaya; Ali, Nimco; Card, DanItem Characterizing Suprathreshold Parallel Auditory Brainstem Responses (pABR)(2023) Helton, Aviendha; Polonenko, MelissaABRs are used to estimate hearing thresholds for different frequencies in infants who cannot tell us what they hear. The parallel ABR method (pABR) aims to speed up testing by presenting all the frequencies simultaneously to both ears. Randomly timed toneburst stimuli (very brief sounds) make it possible to acquire waveforms to the 5 frequencies in each ear. Previously, only wave V of the pABRs was characterized because that is the largest wave and can be used to reliably estimate threshold. The different component waves are best seen when the stimuli are presented at a higher level, or suprathreshold level. We are interested in characterizing all the component waves of pABRs, as they represent responses from different parts of the auditory system.Item Collaborative Creativity: Constructing Costumes for School for Lies(2022) Hirsch, BrynnItem Exploring New Horizons: My Journey with DFRACS and Dr. Silverman(2024-04) Tran, DanItem How Well Does Berry’s Model of Acculturation Apply to Latina Young Adult College Students in the U.S.?(2024-04) Ronan, Audrey; DeJesus-Rodriguez, Ariana; Karimzadeh, LeylaItem Our Captives of the Great War: The Lives of Minnesota's Prisoners of War Following World War I(2023) Boyer, Caleb; Imker, ChaseItem Proud to be a Nasty Woman(2021) Llerena, GabrielaItem Second-Language Speakers and the Clear-Speech Benefit: Does Exaggerated Voice Pitch Increase Understanding?(2020) Larson, Sarah L.; Schlauch, Robert S.Item Yellowface(2020) Brantner, Christian; Lee, JenniferThis site reflects on a number of key examples that show the widespread popularity of yellowface performance even today.
