Duluth Tourist Index

This collection contains issues of the Duluth Tourist Index, a monthly publication of the Bureau of Business and Economic Research that "incorporates sales tax data from the Duluth Treasurer's office, traffic counts from the MN/DOT Program Management Division and the Thompson Hill Visitor Center, and, in order to provide inflation-adjusted tourist spending, the Consumer Price Index. The Index contains information on tourist spending, occupancy rates and average prices of Duluth's hotel rooms, and vehicular tourist traffic, comparing it with the same data from the previous year," according to a description from July 12, 1993.

Issues date from January 1980 through April 1994, though some issues are missing, and issues are grouped by calendar year.
