"University Report" (1969-1973)

Description:

"University Report" was published twice monthly October through June and once monthly July through September by the Department of University Relations. It was sent to all staff members on the University's Twin Cities campus and replaced "The Minnesotan," which was a monthly magazine of feature articles. The first issue of "University Report" noted, "The new publication has been created to fill a communications gap within the University. University departments keep their own members informed about departmental business, the 'Minnesota Daily' reports general University news to a student-faculty audience, and local newspapers and radio and television stations report major news items to the general public. But there has been no medium for reporting staff news to staff members."

"University Report" was published from September 15, 1969 to July 1973. The publication then changed their name to "Report" and was published from September 1973 to July 1984. Access to digitized copies of "Report" can be found here.
