Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the beliefs of America Indian practitioners on teaching about the Ojibwe in a nonformal environmental education setting. The proposed methods of inquiry are semi-structured phenomenological interviews, which according to Marshall and Rossman (1999) involve “the study of lived experiences and the ways we understand those experiences to develop a worldview.”
