Abstract
This report summarizes results from a series of interviews, focus groups, and surveys relating to
Minnesota's workforce. The specific focus of the study relates to workforce issues as they impact
Minnesota's manufacturing sector. The purpose of the study was to determine whether
manufacturing workforce problems exist in Minnesota. If problems were discovered, a second
purpose was to gather information that could form the basis for suggesting future state or regional
studies and/or programs.
