Abstract

The cuprate superconductors LSCO (x = 0.07) and NCCO (x = 0.15) were examined to understand the change in their superconducting character at high temperatures in air and Argon atmospheric conditions. For LSCO its superconducting character remained unchanged in air up to 800 °C for 20 hours. For NCCO the optimal conditions were up to 600 °C in Argon for 20 hours.
