Description
The University of Minnesota, Department of Forest Resources has created a high resolution
land cover spatial database of Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge (NWR),
in Jackson and Jennings Counties, Indiana. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
(USFWS) 1:15000, color-infrared aerial photos were collected on September 19, 2000.
Vegetation types were classified according to the National Vegetation Classification
System (NVCS) at the Formation level. A refuge-derived classification
system was also used and crosswalked to the NVCS.
