"Proposed plan to lower student pay rates on coordinate campuses clarified to correct impression that all campuses would be involved and that there would be room for local options; Resolution approved re expenditure of $1 million of $9.6 million surplus to improve design efficiency and $2.4 million to complete undeveloped space in Unit J, University Hospitals; Resolution approved authorizing development of request for proposal to design and construct an enclosure for football practice field with coaches' offices, training facilities; Proposal reviewed to purchase land to expand UMD playing field; Governor's 1984 Capital Request recommendations compared to University's; draft legislation relating to Supercomputer Institute reviewed; concern expressed; proposed fill to recommend independent development of legislative proposals by coordinate campuses noted; Bachelor of Arts in Russian Area Studies proposed; discontinuation of Food Distribution Management Program, Crookston; proposed."
