Abstract

The Institute's monthly staff newsletter featuring news of recent activities, accomplishments, and resources. This month's feature stories are about a new video series and an upcoming Art for All exhibition. The video series features frank advice for healthcare professionals, directly from adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The art show, which has a research twist, presents a window into the daily lives and future dreams of youth with disabilities who are transitioning to adulthood. This month's update is about Agnes Cole, a recent MNLEND graduate who works at a service provider, runs her own non-profit organization, and who spent much of her fellowship working on the Residential Information System Project, a longitudinal study that tracks the living arrangements of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who receive services.
