Abstract

This study has been prepared in response to legislation passed by the Minnesota Legislature (Chapter No. 464, H.F. No 3012, Article 3, Section 15 Analysis of Aviation Services and Commercial Development). The Legislation requires the Metropolitan Airports Commission to contract with the University of Minnesota to prepare a study to include: (1) a description of various types and levels of aviation service and an examination of the relationship between aviation service levels and the level of commercial and industrial activity in the state and (2) an examination of the relationship between available level of aviation service and the relocation of commercial and industrial enterprises to the state.
