Abstract

In my 5,375-word review essay, I highlight Phil Huston's 2007 book Martin Buber's Journey to Presence and relate certain points she mentions to the life and thought of the American Jesuit Renaissance specialist and cultural historian Walter J. Ong (1912-2003; Ph.D. in English, Harvard University, 1955). This new review essay is intended to complement my previous review essay "Martin Buber's Thought and Walter J. Ong's Thought": http://hdl.handle.net/11299/203046 My new review essay examines early Buber's thought in detail.
