Abstract

This study examines the effect of 2-year college credits, postsecondary certificates and Associate Degrees on hourly wages for high school graduates with no 4-year college experience using restricted-use National Educational Longitudinal Study 1988 (NELS: 1988). The analysis does not find a statistically significant increase in hourly wages associated with 2-year college credits, post-secondary certificates, or Associate Degrees.
