Abstract

In my 6,870-word review essay "The Expansive Relationist Orientation of Walter J. Ong's Thought," I highlight the mature thought from the early 1950s onward of the American Jesuit Renaissance specialist and pioneering media ecology theorist Walter J. Ong (1912-2003; Ph.D. in English, Harvard University, 1955). In addition, I highlight selected books and articles related to certain themes in his work.
