Abstract

Description

As part of a process to redevelop Glenwood Avenue, Harrison Neighborhood Association used the Main Street model to create five working groups to explore such issues as creating an identity for the avenue, reducing crime along the avenue, making the avenue more aesthetically pleasing, and increasing the number of businesses along the avenue. This project used city parcel data and ArcMap software to create maps for the working groups. Specific data items that were mapped included year-built for structures, land use, and zoning code.
