Abstract

In late 2004 the University of Minnesota launched a comprehensive strategic positioning effort. On March 11, 2005, the Board of Regents unanimously approved the goal to be one of the top three public research universities within a decade.

Description

The purpose of this report is to focus on academic elements of the strategic positioning effort on the Twin Cities campus: undergraduate education, graduate and professional education, research, and faculty. Additional outcomes and investment information are available at the end of the report.
