Abstract

The Institute's monthly staff newsletter featuring news of recent activities, accomplishments, and resources. This month's first feature story is about the October 3 ICI Policy Forum on institutional bias in long-term services and supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The second feature story is about ICI training community health workers in rural Rwanda on identifying signs of autism in children. The third story is about extending ICI's research on prevalence into spina bifida and muscular dystrophy. This month's alumni update is about Professor Teri Wallace of Minnesota State University, Mankato.
