Abstract
In the fall of 2014, Professor Dahl participated as a faculty member in the Semester at Sea (SAS) program. On the voyage, Dr. Dahl participated with over 600 students and 35 faculty traveling over 16,000 nautical miles and spending 108 days traveling to 14 different countries. Dahl will share experiences from his trip and describe what lessons he learned from SAS that might be applied to his teaching back on the UMD campus.
