Abstract

This thesis is a thoughtful look at World Language programs around the world, in the United States and culminates with a detailed survey of World Language programs in public school districts and charter schools located throughout the state of Minnesota. It attempts to answer questions about the status of current World Language programs in a variety of Minnesota settings and with a variety of different student age groups.
