Resilient Communities Project (RCP), University of Minnesota
Abstract
This project was completed as part of a partnership between Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy and the University of Minnesota’s Resilient Communities Project (https://rcp.umn.edu/). The goal of this project was to evaluate the effectiveness of deconstruction grant programs and identify incentives or develop resources that could be offered to encourage building materials to be reused or recycled rather than sent to a landfill. R&E project lead Michelle Palm collaborated with two teams of students in Meghan Stiling’s course BA 3062: Impact Lab in Action to develop a partner referral program and implementation guide. Final student reports, presentation slides, and supporting materials from the project are available.
Description
Reports and presentations completed by students enrolled in BA 3062: Impact Lab in Action, taught by Meghan Stiling in fall 2025.
