Abstract
This keynote presentation explored the importance of developing supportive relationships with college students to support their academic achievement and persistence towards graduation. Rather than only creating academic support groups, other approaches can be taken by the entire campus community for their success. Since this video was recorded after the actual speech, it includes strategies contributed by audience members who engaged in small groups at several times during the talk to identify challenges and identify actions that could be taken.
