Abstract

This thesis represents the results of a geologic investigation of a field area located near Mine Centre, in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. Investigation of the field area was conducted to further the understanding of the relationships between volcanic stratigraphy, hydrothermal alteration, metamorphism, and occurrence of base metal mineralization.
