Resilient Communities Project (RCP), University of Minnesota
This project was completed as part of the 2017-2018 Resilient Communities Project (rcp.umn.edu) partnership with the City of Ramsey. The City of Ramsey works to attract and retain the highest quality staff possible to ensure effective governance. As such, the City is considering adding programs that would improve office culture and encourage staff to perform at their highest level. Students in HRIR 6304: Employee Development: Creating a Competitive Advantage, taught by Stacy Doepner-Hove, worked with City staff to identify areas in which the City of Ramsey could implement such programs. The students recommended a wellness program that would promote healthy living and general wellness for city staff. The students’ final report and poster are available.
Report and poster completed by students enrolled in HRIR 6304: Employee Development: Creating a Competitive Advantage, taught by Stacy Doepner-Hove in spring 2018.
This project was supported by the Resilient Communities Project (RCP), a program at the University of Minnesota whose mission is to connect communities in Minnesota with U of MN faculty and students to advance community resilience through collaborative, course-based projects.
