Abstract

This application contains the interactive version of the Native Plant Community Calculator incorporating FIA, FIM, and NPC field data, along with physiographic information to impute likely NPC class for inventoried stands.

This application is built on top of the 2012 USDA Forest Inventory and Analysis database, and uses a combination of FIA, MNDNR forest inventory and native plant community, and soils data to create linkages between either real or hypothetical stand conditions, and observed NPC for stands with matching conditions.
