Cap and Gown Day Programs
Cap and Gown Day, traditionally the first day that graduating seniors would wear their academic regalia, included a convocation at which student scholarship, fellowship, prize, and award recipients were announced and newly elected members of honor societies such as Alpha Psi Omega, Gamma Theta Upsilon, and others were introduced. All University students, not just graduating seniors, earning a B or higher grade point average were also recognized during the springtime convocation.
This collection contains programs from 1952-1971, though a few years are missing or never existed.
