Center for Drug Education and Information Newsletters

This collection contains newsletters produced by the UMD Center for Drug Education and Information (also known as the Drug Education and Information Center). These include:

• The Dope Sheet (September 1971, volume 1, issue 1)
• Nordic Notes (January-February 1972?)
• UMD & Nordic Notes (November-December 1972, volume 1, issue 6 through May-June 1973, volume 3, issue 1)
• UMD Drug Educ and Info Center (March 1, 1975, volume 1, issue 1 through June 15, 1977, volume 3, issue 6)

There is also a worksheet about drug issues from the Problem Solving Institute, possibly from 1974; a Center for Drug Education and Information brochure, possibly from 1976; and an issue of the Partnerships in Prevention newsletter from December 1979 from the Drug Education Department, all of which were filed with the newsletters in the UMD Archives.

"Nordic" in the titles mentioned above is likely the acronym for Northern Regional Drug Information Clearinghouse.
