Department of Continuing Education

The Department of Continuing Education has had several names, including:

  • Continuing Education and Extension, Duluth Center (1974-1996)
  • University College or University College Duluth, part of the University of Minnesota system-wide program with an office on the Duluth campus (1996-2000)
  • Department of Continuing Education (2001-2017)

In 2017 the unit became part of UMD's Center for Economic Development (part of the Labovitz School of Business and Economics).
