Item 2005 Meander Visitor Evaluation: Profile and Possible Improvements(University of Minnesota Tourism Center, 2005) Salk, Raintry J.; Schneider, Ingrid E.; Monson, VernaThe Upper Minnesota River Art Crawl Meander, created in 2004, hopes to showcase the work of local artists, draw visitors to the area, enrich citizens’ social and cultural lives, and build the brand identity of the Upper Minnesota Valley Region as associated with the arts. In 2005, the University of Minnesota Tourism Center (UMTC) and Community Assistance Program (CAP) were contracted to create a visitor profile of the Upper Minnesota River Art Crawl Meander. Several areas of analysis were of interest for the organizing groups.
