Description
This was the first flight of the program that investigate the spin susceptibility of the Ultra Stick 120. This flight involved the baseline (unmodified) Ultra Stick 120. After takeoff, Curt trimmed the aircraft in steady & wings-level flight. We then performed 360 degree heading changes in both left and right directions. The remainder of the flight consisted of stalling the aircraft intentionally. We performed both straight ahead stall (wings-level, power-off, pull-up, and recover) and accelerated stall (banked turn, power-off, pull-up, and recover).
