Abstract
Commercial livestock (feeder and slaughter livestock in particular)
is traded and priced according
to relatively uniform grade, quality,
and weight specifications. On any
day, prices for commercial livestock
are established for a wide
range in grades, qualities, and
weights for almost any area in the
U.S. with locational differences in
prices which reflect deficit-surplus
conditions and transportation costs. 28 pages.
