Abstract

In my 3,000-word review essay "Frank M. Oppenheim's 1987 Book Royce's Mature Philosophy of Religion, and Walter J. Ong's Thought," I highlight the late American Jesuit philosopher and theologian and Royce specialist Frank M. Oppenheim's 1987 book Royce's Mature Philosophy of Religion (University of Notre Dame Press). In addition, I highlight certain relevant parts of the work of the American Jesuit Renaissance specialist and cultural historian and pioneering media ecology theorist Walter J. Ong (1912-2003; Ph.D. in English, Harvard University, 1955).
