Abstract

Rocio Galicia is a Mexican researcher into Las Madres Buscadoras, women who search for the remains of people in the Mexican deserts. This mixed media painting was produced in a collaborative process with Voice-to-Vision participants in response to Rocio's account of Las Madres Buscadoras in the wider context of the human migrations though Mexico to the United States.
