Abstract
We give a direct proof of the market equilibrium theorem of
Gale-Nikaido-Debreu for an infinite, dimensional commodity space.
Our theorem is closely related to a recent result of Aliprantis-Browu,
but allows for excess demand correspondences rather than excess demand
functions.
