Abstract

Description

The goal for this flight was to obtain rigid body aerodynamic data for Skoll. The first flight launched at 35 knots. The aircraft rolled to the left hard on launch (reached ~60 degree bank). Following the recovery from the roll the aircraft was quite dynamic. The pilot briefly switched into autopilot to help stabilize, then switched back to manual and impacted the ground. Sounds like it was stalled when it went in.
