Abstract

Description

Fenrir Flight 04 - 08 were to find the desired center of gravity position for the mini MUTT aircraft. All flights were straight ahead with checks of the aircraft dynamics and controllability. Flight 04 c.g. was identical to flight 03. The c.g. was moved back with each successive flight. Flight 07 was found to have the highest speed (lower trim drag) and have good launch characteristics and handling qualities. Flight 08 must have stepped aft of the c.g. limit and exhibited an unstable pitch up on launch.
