Description
Hawthorne Area Community Council (HACC) compiled a list of industrial businesses located on either side of the Mississippi River on Minneapolis' Northside. The industrial businesses were mapped according to type, based on their SIC codes, to show both how industry was distributed throughout the study area and where industries of particular types were located. The map showed a larger number of businesses to the west of the river, but a higher concentration of service-oriented business to the east.
