Abstract

In my 3,350-word review essay "Rabbi Jonathan Sacks' 2021 Book The Power of Ideas, and Walter J. Ong's Thought," I highlight the late Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks' 2021 collection of 91 essays titled The Power of Ideas: Words of Faith and Wisdom (Hodder & Stoughton). At times, I connect certain ideas that I highlight with the relevant thought of the American Jesuit Renaissance specialist and pioneer media ecology theorist Walter J. Ong (1912-2003; Ph.D. in English, Harvard University, 1955).
