Abstract

Description

The scope of the University punishment of the football players is unprecedented in big time sports. The resulting boycott by the football team is also without precedent. Were the players treated fairly within the University's process? Did race contribute to a harsher treatment of the players compared to previous athletes? Has the University's responsibility for punishing sexual misconduct been properly upheld and defended?
