Abstract
This is an historical account of the Itasca Biological Station from its creation in 1907 as the “Forestry School Campus” (thanks to the efforts of Samuel B. Green) through the publication of this account in 1979. The focus is on teaching activities at the station, with appendices including courses offered, by department; a chronological listing of teaching faculty; Itasca buildings by years; publications by staff and students over the years, etc. Departments who utilized the station during this period included Forestry, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Biochemistry, Soils, Botany, and Animal Biology.
