This short history of the School of Agriculture of the University of Minnesota at University Farm, St. Paul, has been written in attempt to record the chief events in connection with popularizing agricultural education in Minnesota and establishing the School. An account is given also the early growth and development of the School and of its influence upon rural education and rural life during the fifty years of its existence.
