Abstract

The paper consist of photomicrographs that show colors, forms, occurences, and associations of minerals of the central and western Mesabi Range. These minerals are minnesotaite, talc, stilpnomelane, greenalite, chlorites, quartz, carbonates (mostly siderite and ankerite), magnetite, hematite, and goethite.
