VIREO / Day11 / Flight21. TEST: Closed-loop control law validation. RESULT: Good flight for control law validation. EVENTS: 1. This flight used the TECS controller (same as Flight18). 2. Turned off all longitudinal control loops except total energy to throttle. Elevator was held fixed at -5 deg TE up. 3. The TECS controller managed airspeed and altitude well despite the stuck elevator. 4. We completed step commands in altitude and airspeed. 5. We completed the autoland.
