Abstract

I will be conducting an evaluation of the Mujeres en Liderazgo program at the Waite House Neighborhood Center. The Mujeres program supports the development of strong community leaders through a combination of popular education, storytelling, and community engagement. The overall goal of the program is to increase civic participation and support the leadership of Latina women within their personal life, family, workplace, and community. Specifically, the program supports a greater engagement of Latina immigrant women in the greater Twin Cities community.
