This presentation was given to farmers interested in soil health on January 22, 2019 in Rochester, MN. The presentation was utilized to educate the public on the sources of nitrates in the groundwater of Southeast Minnesota. It emphasizes the need for additional agricultural best management practices to reduce nitrate concentrations below the rooting zones of row crops.
